Coffee board

In a busy business district of the city, across the street from the corn-roasting lady is a coffee stall.
Much more common here is the tea stall, so I don't know if I've ever seen a coffee place like this.

In the back it had a man sitting on a bucket chopping onions, and on the side the stall had an interesting little sign that said, "Coffees of India, Coffee board".

So I looked it up and found some interesting information on the Coffee board.
It seems they boast of "75 glorious years of coffee research".
"The Board also encourages the consumption of coffee in India and abroad". Perhaps this stall is one of their "coffee-centric food and beverage exhibitions".

I don't know a lot about coffee because I do not have the coffee gene, but maybe some of you who do should check it out.

The Indian Coffee House

The Indian Coffee House in Kollam had character.
Men in fun hats.
Menus and pictures on the wall.
Blue paint and bars on the windows.
Sticky, red plastic chairs.
And fantastic prices.
I'd recommend it.

Unsuccessful errands

I had an unsuccessful day. I went out looking for four different things. I made three different stops. I found zero of what I was looking for. Took up five hours of my day.
But, as usual, I saw other interesting things
At the coffee shop where I stopped for some tea, I sat on the balcony and watched the tide come in on the sea of motorcycles below.

At another stop I saw something new.
Do you ever look up at the ceiling? I do. And today I was rewarded. There were barefooted men walking over the panels of whatever the roof is made of, squeegeeing it.
Here's a brief look at the action:
